Abstract:
African concept of visual design was derived from the concept of creation which has been noted to be the exclusive preserved of the gods. Design and art as it were, are created with intrinsic value such as inventions, innovations technical prowess and deep imagination. To create design in Africa content is unique therefore; design forms which keep on occurring in African arts obviously have significance in the life of those who created them for the purpose of aesthetics and beauty in African digital designs This paper is not mere description or just an historical narration of African digital design and visuals but centers on the deviation of African people from their original system of design and imbibing computer graphic digital application as an alternative to pen and paint box creative designs The paper concluded that the conventional African visual designs should be guided against because African design is center on values and experience which is concern with the essence of African personality and existence of transmission of design legacy from parents to children which leads to physical or merit pattern, which later becomes the object of perception, admiration, and utilization. Computer graphics and visual design reflection in African design is therefore cognitive reaction scientifically which implies conceptualization and, inspiration in 21st century.

Abstract:
The evolving hair styles in Nigeria today are endangering some traditional hair styles . M any of the beautiful traditional hair styles which identify Nigerians as a people are gradually being eroded, giving way to Western or other foreign styles. As a culture evolves, there is always a need to preserve it. If precautions are not taken to preser ve a cultural heritage, it will be lost. This paper explores the use of photography as a tool for documenting traditional Nigerian hair styles and d iscusses the preservation of those photographs in museums. Abstract:
Coronation ceremonies are traditional rites to formally install kings to the throne of their forefathers as community leaders who are symbol of authority between their people and the outside world. The funfairs that accompany these ceremonies are worth documenting using printmaking as a vehicle of visual and historical expression. The prints represented in this paper are expression of myths and mythologies demonstrating African culture, which stands out as sacred. This discourse also relies on oral testimonies, written and archival documents. The materials used for the execution of the prints are rubber, wood, plate, offset printing inks and glass, which records the events as an alternative to the use of photographic documentation. …

Abstract:
Industrial design education in Nigeria has suffered many uncertainties since its inception. The discipline has been constructed by significant majority as art and this is supported by the similarity in curricular content, products and methods.This study therefore takes a look at the problems that militate against the rapid growth and acceptability of Industrial Design in the Nigerian Education. The study assessed the future of industrial design education in Nigeria.Data was collected through the administering of Likert-scales questionnaires. Descriptive statics, frequency distribution, mean score and percentages were used to analyze the data obtained. The study concluded that, the factors that brought Industrial design to existence and growth elsewhere will eventually do the same in Nigeria. Some of these factors include massive competition; industrial growth and it offered some form of professional advice for its intending practitioners and those already in practice.

Abstract:
Aesthetic is the area of artistic visuals designs that seek to communicate primarily through the eyes, mind, brain and thoughts of the consumers of products. It appeals to both the intellect and visual senses not only the expression of feelings but also a means of communication through lines, colours, forms and visuals. Despite its centrality to human thought and feelings, it has some part to play in advertisement of products. Aesthetic Theorists have proposed different accounts that all works of designs share what gives product advertisement value and beauty. Other aspects of aesthetic principles take into account complex judgement, classical and expressive in aesthetics, based on the human psychology of visual perception and influence that would raise one’s ideas of taste and appreciation for products. The study explored the visual perception of aesthetic operatives of product advertisements as it affects the consumers and the impacts of design aesthetic analysis on consumer of products advertised. It discusses a number of related topics on the role of aesthetics in advertisement of products, its impact, purpose and justification in purchasing of products. The study concludes that aesthetic analysis in visual perception is a subject that attracts consumers in search for beauty in products advertised.
